Songs and Poems
A Note from Mrs. Foshee
We are enjoying the warmer weather of the last few days and are eagerly awaiting Spring. Your
children are progressing nicely and we are learning new Bible verses, songs, stories and many
different concepts. The current Bible verse is "In the beginning God created the heavens and the
earth." Genesis 1:1 We are reviewing numbers 1-10 and the concept of "more" and "less".
Patterning, sequencing, and graphing are being reinforced as well. We will begin letter "V" next week,
followed by letters "Z", "Q", and "X". We have many fun activities planned for learning about Saint
Patrick, Easter and Spring. Please continue to review letters and writing skills by using the
workbooks that have previously been sent home with your child. This is a great resource for
reinforcement.

Please be reminded of PICTURES that will be taken on MARCH 25th. Individual and class
pictures will be taken.
If you purchased COOKIE DOUGH, it MUST be PICKED UP THIS MONDAY, MARCH 15th.
RECIPES for the COOKBOOK must be turned in no later than APRIL 21st.
SPRING BREAK will be APRIL 5th - APRIL 12th. Please note that we will be CLOSED on
MONDAY, APRIL 12th.
We will BEGIN class on TUESDAY, APRIL 13th.
