| Happy New Year everyone, I hope everyone had a safe and happy Christmas and New Year!! I'm sure you all enjoyed your break with your children, but I'm sure you are ready for school to start again! Our class will be back to school on Wednesday, January 4th. We will start the new year working on Kindergarten readiness. The first and most important concept to prepare the children for Kindergarten is being able to write their first and last names correctly. This means they can no longer write their names in all uppercase letters. Uppercase letters will only be used for the first letter in their first name and the first letter of their last name. It is very important that you reinforce this concept at home. Practice, practice, practice!! Also, several of children have been coming to school without coats. We will be going outside everyday and we never know when we will be having a fire drill. Please send your child to school with a coat. If you have any questions, please let me know. Thank you, Karen |
