Notice Regarding School Closures

The administration reserves the right to close school in the event of inclement weather, wide-spread illnesses or for unforeseen
events beyond our control.  We are not obligated to make up lost days on planned school closure days.
Peanut and Peanut Product Allergies can be life threatening.  Therefore, Centerville Baptist Pre-School and affiliated programs make every
attempt to protect the health of children with Peanut Allergies by banning peanuts, peanut butter and peanut butter by-products from
classrooms.

Parents should read food labels to ensure that prepackaged foods do not contain peanuts or peanut products or by-products or have been
produced or packaged in plants that produce peanuts.  While we make every attempt to ban peanut products, we cannot ensure that our facilities
will be completely peanut product free.    Parents MUST exercise caution when children have severe allergic reactions.

Kindergarten Information Night

Join us Tuesday evening, January 31st, at 6:30 for an informal meeting regarding our approach to
Kindergarten.  The Chesapeake Public Schools do an amazing job teaching our children; preparing them for the next step in
their academic careers.  So why consider CBC Kindergarten as an alternative educational program?  The answer is as
individual as your child.  Is your child an auditory or visual learner?  Does your child learn best through a hands-on
approach?  We believe that children are naturally kinesthetic learners.  We want them to have the opportunity to become
totally involved in their learning through a total immersion approach.  At the same time we want your child to learn to be
self-reliant, self-disciplined, and responsible classroom citizens who view learning as great fun.
